With the average priced laptop now more than capable of performing all the day to day tasks you ask of it, it certainly seems to be a wise choice to opt for a lightweight, portable laptop over the bulky static desktop machine. While HP Compaq are still the market leaders, consolidating their position at the top of the tree and the rival with sales that all the others aspire to, there are pretenders to their throne.
