A high-end Mac monitor from LG does not work if too close to WiFi routers. Mac owners first noticed the problem with the LG ultrafine 5k monitor flickering and going off and when this was reported to LG they admitted that this can be caused if the monitor is situated too close to WiFi routers or access points. LG advised that newer Ultra fine 5k monitors manufactured after February 2017 will have extra RF shielding to resolve the problem. We advise any owners experiencing these problems to take them back to the point of purchase and ask for a refund or to contact LG about having them returned for repair.
